    Unfortunately we had an awful and are still having an awful experience with the staff from Dr Scanlon's office. While the Dr himself seemed nice and knowledgeable enough when we met him, since then we showed up for another scheduled appointment with him and we were told the Dr was not in. We were never called to reschedule the appointment. We also had an ultrasound 11 days ago and cannot get anyone to give us any results. We were told the nurse would call us with results and that they would also be sent to primary care doctor. Still no results 11 days later and no fax to our primary care. We just want the results of this ultra sound so we can move on and determine next steps of care. I do not recommend this office for your care.

    Unfortunately a horrible experience with the office. But I do not mean a doctor, who I didnt even got a chance to see that time The Front desk clerk( a heavy woman in age). was the one who had scheduled my so called free ultrasound . They offer it to the patients before to see the doctor. By this way they obviously trying to engage more business. But this is a trick : after this visit they will send you to make ultrasound again ( not for free, of course). My free ultrasound had been made,but not on the area of my concern. I had specifically discussed that question with the Front desk woman over the phone before my first visit. After the first appointment they asked me to come for the second time for to make the ultrasound on the area of my real concern , but now to pay for it. Nobody could explain me why the right area had not been done during my initial visit. The Front desk woman was very rude and irritated and could not even find any of my records in the computer about my first visit for see what body areas had been examined. I requested to see the results of my first ultrasound and she said me We do not have any records of it. We do not do any records because its free?! Just like that:)? I wonder why they even invite people to waist their time doing free ultrasound .and not keeping the records. No any reasonable explanation: It seems the woman does not have a clear understanding of the protocol of the office she works in. She also creates confusion giving incorrect info over the phone when she is trying to schedule the free ultrasound ! But it was not the end of my unforgettable visit! Suddenly, in the middle of all that conversation an angry man showed up from the back, interfering and yelling at me! I was in shock! Who was that man? He was very aggressive and loud. Absolutely unprofessional person. To my question to the receptionist who was he, she told: It is just Jeff and he has been working here for 7 years To my understanding he is a worker from the back office.and who allows himself just to come out and yell at the patients! What an experience!and shame! It is very sad and strange to see such culture in the office of a very good doctor J. Scanlon. I had few surgeries with doctor Scanlon in the past. Started in his old office. Never any problems. Only the best outcomes! Everybody around was so knowledgeable and helpful. But something has changed in office atmosphere

    Dr Scanlon is a caring and knowledgeable surgeon. His office staff are the best! After Aortic bi femoral bypass surgery, I am on my way to walking 2+ miles a day and have my life back, pain free!

Best ultrasounds Ive had in my 34 year battle with veins and clots. His expertise was thorough, detailed and explicative. Kristi in surgery thank you for treating me with the utmost care, follow up call and pleasant smile for the nerves I had! Thank you Dr Scanlons team!!!
