Young, impressionable women please stay away. He is not the type of "doctor" you want. He caused PTSD. Edit: thank you for proving my point. I DID get help and was encouraged to help others; and that is why I am notifying women of my experience. As you can see below by his retort, he is who he is showing you below. That is him. Period.

Dr Temkin is the absolute best psychiatrist . He is the best diagnostician and has an expertise in treatment and medication. He is caring, sympathetic , firm when required, and listens. He is the only one in my long history to bring me to a level of stability that enables me to live life healthy and in peace and enjoyment. Met recently with Dr. Temkin and had a wonderful experience speaking with him. I am a new patient and was extremely apprehensive about speaking with anyone in general. However, I decided that my health and well-being are much more important than some temporary apprehension about visiting a doctor. After a brief phone call, I was able to see him within two days. He was extremely approachable and spoke to me with dignity, like a human being, and put me on a treatment plan That so far has worked wonderfully. I told him about my apprehension and sensitivity to medications and he reassured me of how the medicines are designed to work and the doses he prescribed were very very minimal to make sure that my system could tolerate them. Im looking forward to seeing him again in the future. Im looking forward to having my life better than it has been in a long long time. Thank you, Dr. Temkin. God bless!
