Naples Pediatrics

Dr. Irra is the worst pediatric I have ever encountered. This individual could care less for the health of your child, always rushing through appointments to jump to the next patient in line. This office went as far as dropping my child off their patient list with no notice ever being mailed to me and we were always respectful and never had any confrontation with the DR or his staff. My advice if you care about your childs health and well being, go to another physician!

Brought our son for a sports physical. We have insurance. They did not bill us at the time the services were rendered for whatever reason. They claim to have sent us invoices for the services at a later time, but we never received them. We only became aware of owing them any money when a collection agency called us. Very odd way of doing business. They never called or sent us anything by mail. Very shady.

I took my infant to this office a few times when he was a newborn through a few months old. The final straw was when I brought him in when he had his first cold. My sister who came with me timed how long Dr. Irra was in the room- just over a minute. He prescribed cough medicine- even though my son didnt have a cough. The nurses gave us a list of things to do at one- one of the things being to give him lemon tea with honey in it. He was 3 months old at the time. I called the office asking why I was being told to give an infant honey. I was told those are just general recommendations. I dont take my child to a doctor for standard recommendations. I take him for specific care. Another time I took my son in because I was sure he was experiencing major gas and was very uncomfortable. Dr. Irra told me I must be feeding him too often so to only feed him every 4 hours (my son was 6 weeks old at the time). I said what should I do then was hes crying of hunger. He said just to let him cry until it was feeding time. Not a fan of any part of this practice.
