Our two children have been seeing Dr. Santiago for several years. He and his staff are kind, knowledgeable and go above & beyond for their patients. Karen especially is exceptional at putting patients minds at ease. The office perfectly caters to making the dental experience a pleasurable one and my children genuinely enjoy going to see Dr. Santiago!

So had an emergency our almost 5 year smack his teeth in a classmates head. Dr. Santiago who was not in the office took our son at his house for an emergency appointment can say enough about how unbelievable that was. On his day off had us come to his home and make our sons tooth was ok just amazing thank you

The first time that I had an experience with Dr. Santiago it was amazing, or so I thought but unfortunately I have changed my mind. I feel frustrated and I wish this had never happened to my son and I dont want it to happen to anyone else! I can understand that a 4 year old is afraid and nervous in his first visit, but I cannot understand or accept an unprofessional and rude attitude coming from a doctor/dentist who is supposed to be kind and have empathy and compassion towards my son. We went to get two fillings done but he decided that one of them needed a crown and I believed him. After getting an injection, my son reached out to grab my hand while he was on the seat, and just because of that, the dentist tied him to the seat. Imagine how that scared my 4 year old even more. After the crown was done my son started to bleed a lot, they would try to dry it with cotton but they kept changing the cotton because it would keep bleeding and the dr. kept going and started the next tooth with all the blood still there. After that he told his assistant that he had to stop working on it because he needed it to be dry in order to do the filling even though he had already started, he didnt say a word to me and got up, told the assistant that I had to make another appointment to bring him another day and after that he left. I waited to get a second appointment and they never scheduled me. Long story short, now I had to go to a second dr to get advised and she told me that in the first place, the crown was unnecessary to do, now he has an infection because the doctor left it open and he now lost the tooth because it was too late to fix it, that now because of the trauma my son has, they need to apply general anesthesia to finish the job that was left undone. I truly wish my son didnt go through all this process. It all started with just a regular filling and ended up in us having to do a bigger job and pay a bigger bill for all that happened after the first visit. I spoke to the dentist about the horrible experience we had and how much it affected us, not only in the moment but moving forward and until this day, I am still waiting for an apology.
