Dr. Magardino is quite personable and kind in the office. However the costs bled me out, no solution, office staff uncaring and not helpful. To the point I had to write a letter and hand carry and drop off to the doctor to get the medical direction. Followed by the Doctor essentially saying he is no longer able to provide for my sons care and to go to USF. If that was the case, he knew his complex situation and should have referred us years ago before years and years of dealing with Dr. Magardino. IDK, feels that looking for the quick and easy patient and money is the motivation....that is what is felt like.

A bitter and heartless doctor. I thought I was lucky when I scored a cancelation appointment with Dr. Magardino. Was I ever WRONG. I had a blinding sinus headache when I made the appointment and was looking for potential answers. Dr. Magardino started by lecturing me that he and his office were not concierge medicine and insinuated that I did not deserve the appointment I got. I assured him I did not think he was a concierge doctor nor was I trying to use his practice as such. He then started in on me about how I should have gone to see my Primary Care Physician even though my PCP was the one who sent me to an ENT. I tried to explain this to him, but all he did was talk over me. He attributed my headache to a drop in barometric pressure and told me I was not sick. The doctor then went on a tirade about how there are not enough doctors in Naples, Florida as if that were my fault. He is clearly a very unhappy person who feels the need and desire to intimidate and berate vulnerable people who come to him for help. I left his office in tears. Im a breast cancer survivor who recently finished treatment and did not need his cruelty and vicious attack. What happened to do no harm?

This may be my first Google review in a few years. Im writing to sincerely thank Dr. Magardino and the staff at Collier Otolaryngology Center. I havent felt right since my 2020 throat cancer. I was treated and cured up north at Roswell and Im under continuing care at Moffitt in Tampa. My Roswell oncologist said it best: long term effects happen long term. Ive got a lot of them. Between my Moffitt semi-annual checkup and in the weeks before Christmas, I started feeling localized pain and other symptoms. If youve had cancer, everything feels like cancer. My discomfort turned into dread - right before the holidays. I saw Dr. Magardino before; I had appreciated his expertise and willingness to fully answer all my questions, even the dumb ones. Twenty days before Christmas I called up for an appointment and got lucky with a cancellation. A few days later Dr. Magardino gave me a full work up. My examination revealed no new developments, all was well. He explained patiently and completely many things, most importantly that this is how my throat will feel from now on. Learning how to deal with that is my next mission. But heres my point, as I sit here relaxing with my family under the tree on Christmas Day: Thank you Dr. Magardino and all your wonderful staff for making time to give me the peace of mind to enjoy this Holiday with my wife and daughters, without health unknowns. And thank you, whoever you are, for canceling your appointment minutes before I called in for mine at Collier Otolaryngology!
