Horrible practice. I had an ultrasound here where I was diagnosed with dozens of cysts.  I was also told I needed an immediate and expensive surgical procedure.  The staff was mentally abusive and they operated in an urgent, high pressure manner -- clearly offended by my questions. After several sleepless nights, I went to a fabulous gyn in downtown Naples for a second opinion.  Low and behold -- the exact same ultrasound tech was at his office and she performed a repeat scan to confirm this doctor's "findings."Wouldn't you know it?  Only days later, the same technician, and not a single cyst. Had I gone through with the treatments and surgery, they would have also aborted my unborn baby.  Another surprise this office didn't pick up on.  As far as I'm concerned, that would have constituted murder.  And I cannot even be sure what the motives were.  I asked around for a long while after this experience and no one else had a good report either.  This practice should be investigated and shut down asap.  False diagnosis is, as far as I know, criminal.  And back then, I had excellent insurance.

Absentee Doctor Dr. Janice Young never actually sees patients in person. She refuses to take or return calls to patients. Claim found with the Florida Department of Health against her practices. She charges patients without rendering any services such as providing results for lab tests or discussing. The only communication that she is willing to have with her patients is through her staff or via mail. No opportunity for questions from the patient face-to-face. She will however be happy to process your personal payment or insurance claim to make sure that she is paid.If you want a high-priced absentee doctor that is never available to discuss your health, she is the right doctor to see.
