Independence Care of Florida

I'm having difficulty getting an aide that speaks English, has independent transportation and capable of arriving on time, yet wants to leave on time!

Horrible nobody answers phone workers unreliable don't call show up run around if your even able to get someone on phone like to change this review if I got help.leave messages nobody calls back even lied.to

It all sounded great! A worker would be at my place "by noon" on the scheduled start date, and the service coordinator would call me "within 15 minutes" of the phone call to give me some details about the new aide. I never received a call. On the scheduled start date, no one showed up. No one called. When I called Independence Care, I was told that the service coordinator would call me "within 15 minutes" and again, I didn't hear back. I called 3 more times, and was lied to once more. My original contact person just called and asked me to give them another chance. I said I would consider it, but first need to speak with a manager, because that service coordinator either needs retraining, to to be fired. It remains to be seen if anyone shows up next week. I don't have any faith in this company that they will.
