Used amaro builders a year and a half ago. Numerous issues along the way but were resolved as some point. However about 9 months ago the tub started leaking from the bottom. We called Amaro asking them to please come look at it to address the problem. Non responsive or promised to show up and no one would come. Finally had to hire our own plumber. They just came and and has to lift the tube. Sure enough the drain under the tub was not done correctly so water was sitting under the tub and created mold. So upsetting since Amaro had found mold during the initial demoing of this bathroom. To put us in a situation that would potentially cause mold again is unacceptable. During the remodel we constantly had different workers every day come and do the plumbing. No one knew what had been done prior or some werent even plumbers. Apparently they sent someone to install the tub that had no idea what they were doing. They didnt attached the drain pipe correctly so the water was draining under the tub instead of down the drain. Sherry Anderson Relationship: Client Project Date: March 2023 Going on 8 months since giving a deposit of 19,950.00 and work not really started..see photos. We have lost all faith and hope in Amaro Builders. Words and appointments not kept. They have held our money and lives hostage for the past 8 months. No responses to emails, dont answer phone calls and no return calls. Only response was after posting a bad review resulting in 2 workers showing up 4 hours late unloaded about a dozen 2x4,s. Few days later 2 workers show up again over 2 hours late..nailed a few boards together then.....ghost again. Although we were requested by AMARO BUILDERS to remove the negative review which was immediately done thinking that was to begin work on our project. We have requested a refund which has received the same as other communications ...nothing...ghosted again.
