Oakes Farms Market

This was my absolute favorite store the 4 years I lived in Naples. I lived around the corner, and would walk there regularly- the staff were friendly, the food was amazing, and there were a plethora of reasons to develop a deep affinity for this place- trust me. Then I just saw their reply to someone's question about their employees not wearing masks during an epidemic that killed millions of ppl in this country alone. "...Fauci is a liar wake up"The Stupid isn't limited to any particular or specific group. it transcends class, location, race, everything... just, the Dunning-Kreuger effect, in person, spewing misinformation and straight lies everywhere it goes, leaving literal millions dead in its wake. And my (former) favorite store supports this. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe the feeling.

This place is crazy! Saturday afternoon and it feels like a party at the mall! Knowledgeable staff and lots of tasting opportunities. I would have rated it 5 starts but one of the meat guys (Terry) touched our brats with his bare hand when getting them out of the display and then said that he didn't need to wear gloves and that he didn't touch them. I'm not sure if meat market guys need to wear gloves, but don't lie to the customer. My wife and I both saw it happen...
