Nova Homes of South Florida

We signed a contract to have our home built with Nova Homes. They did not meet specifications in our contract and refused to fix them. Something that was supposed to be an exciting time became a very bad experience.

We recently, "finally", had our beautiful home finished by Nova homes. I say finally because it took a while, but it was worth the wait. It wasn't Nova's fault it took so long, just the time we were going through during construction. The house is done and we are extremely happy. From Frank the owner to Geo who helped a lot, Eric who we worked on getting started with to Dan who was the project manager and Dan was AWESOME!. Nova is very easy to work with and they are very accommodating. If you are looking to have a home built in the Naples, Marco Island area, I highly recommend Nova Homes! Very slow, poor quality, never keep their words. Extremely disappointed with Nova. Quality that they say they are so proud of- is not there. Very poor quality. And way way behind schedule. Customer service is very poor, you can't even talk to anyone about your project, you have to send an email and wait for weeks to get a reply from them. As with normal builders, you're able to communicate with your project manager as project moves along- not with Nova. You're not allowed to talk to your project manager. You're hiring them to build you a house but once they take your money- you're at their mercy, literally . They do whatever they want and don't care about you once you signed a contract . Also their contract has no finish date that need to try to meet, meaning they could be building your house for years to come and you can't do anything about it. Thinking to hire a lawyer at this point as Nova is 1.5 years behind on our build and they won't tell you when they expect to finish.  Find another builder to build your house , as you'll have better quality, timing and customer service than with Nova. And if anything- hire a realtor to represent you from beginning.  Otherwise stay away from Nova as a builder.

Wonderful builder. Frank and Nick are great leaders in the organization. Good response to customer requests. The homes look great. Insulated exterior walls a plus.
