Our daughter Isabella Roig has been seeing doctor Brown since she was born. Mid October my wife and I decided to make an appointment with Doctor Brown to have our daughter looked at due to some concerns we were having. She was losing a lot of weight and peeing constantly, also drinking lots fluids, she was pretty much indicating all the symptoms of Type 1 Diabetes. At our visit we expressed all our concerns to Doctor Brown, even going as far as suggesting we do a blood sugar test but she brushed it all off saying she was going through a growth spur. A few days later our daughter's symptoms started worsening, she was getting sleepy in random areas and not being herself, so we decide to take her to the emergency room. As soon as we arrived and they checked her symptoms one of the first things they did was check her blood sugar levels which were at almost 600, confirming that our daughter was indeed a TYPE 1 Diabetic. The days after that were spent at intensive care trying to stabilize all her levels. Throughout the days, we never even received a follow up call from her as our daughters primary doctor. Just an advice to any parent that looks at this review. Do your child a favor and find a pediatrician that cares about them. Our daughter almost went into a coma because of her negligence.
