I'm a man and seeking medical attention is the last thing I ever want to do! After losing sleep for 3 months due to chronic pain I was referred by a friend to Dr. Shaffer. His approach is holistic and he takes time to understand the cause behind the symptoms in order to tailor a treatment program for his patients. Naturally, I was resistant to any type of surgery and when I learned of the benefits from non-surgical spinal decompression, I was ecstatic. Dr. Shaffer is more than a practicioner, he has endured back injuries and undergone back surgery with a successful outcome. He is physically active in weight training and works hard to keep in top form. His energy levels are consistently high and his attention to detail is exceptional. The office visits are always pleasant thanks to his lovely wife, Kay. I never had to wait for more than 5 minutes to be seen over a span of 24 appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Shaffer based on his clinical experience and experience!

If you're looking to be treated as a person from the moment you walk in the door, not just a patient, Dr. Schaffer and his Office Manager, Kay are the best! Every visit feels like I'm trusting my health to friends who are looking after me, guiding me, and taking care of me (and my insurance). They relieved my chronic neck pain and back pain with a holistic approach; treating me with thorough exams, adjustments, stretches, exercises, spinal decompression, and education to make better decisions between visits. True masters in the art of healing. I feel the best I've felt in more than a decade.

He is always honest about your injury or pain. He doesn't try to add on services or string you along. Highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Shaffer now for quite some time, and I am sad that it has taken me this long to write a raving review. Dr. Shaffer is the definition of honesty, patience, and compassion. I originally went in for bad neck pain which left me nearly immobile. Through the use of time and his magical tools, I am happy to say that the pain is gone! And I cant forget to write about Kay. Kay is possibly the best office manager that I have ever encountered. Her kindness makes me smile every time I walk into that office. Aside from being an overall amazing person, she is 100% honest. She goes above and beyond to double check my insurance and makes sure that I dont overpay. I mean, who does that?? She is also ridiculously effective at communication, to the point where I feel almost like family. Every office needs a Kay! I cannot stress how much I recommend this office. Thank you for all that you do!
