Rob just completed our dream home plans and we are thrilled with the results! He converted our concepts for a coastal style home into a well-thought plan with attention to the details. Before choosing an architectural design firm for our complete remodel and addition in the Moorings neighborhood of Naples, I did quite a bit of research. Some of the large firms I consulted with were snobby and impersonal, and the smaller firms didnt give us the feeling that they had the depth of experience and capabilities to pull it off. More importantly with the work we saw with some of the large firms is that with each of their houses, their work was really all the same. Right from the start, our experience with Robert Mongillo and his WDG team was markedly different. When my wife and I looked at WDGs designs around town, we saw right away that each were very unique. That demonstrated to us that WDG is in our opinion a true architectural firm. Over the course of our time working with Rob, we could not have been more pleased. He didnt just pump out a product that looked like all of the other houses hes designed, or designed what he wanted, but instead was able to design and bring to life our exact vision. He turned our aesthetic into the house of our dreams, which really blew our minds! What was even more surprising was how effortless the process was. Not only was it a stress free endeavor, it was enjoyable and fun, and on a project of this magnitude we think that is fantastic. So while the other firms it seems just stay right in one lane, Rob and his team were the total opposite which truly speaks to the depth of Robs abilities, professionalism, vision and imagination. My family could not be happier with the final product, and for that we are truly grateful.
