You will find what you see as far as the model goes is not what you get at all. The base price is reasonable but by the time you start any structure or design you will be pushing another 180k on top. Monteverde is great if your children go to school there but be aware the resale value will never be good at all. Simply because Monteverde is a town where everyone has land. One acre plus. These are zero lot lines which will be super difficult to sell if you're looking for a sound investment. My advice is please ask to visit the design center before you give them a penny. Make sure you really understand the price gouging that happens after you pay the deposit. We walked away, and they kept our 20k after we saw the pricing at design. We were also told another nine people did the same. For us the 20k loss was actually far better than taking the house. We would be stuck in a 900k house which is worth possibly the 650k to start. Good luck on your home buying journey and make sure you have a competent Realtor that reads the fine print. To walk in this builder's office without a Realtor is no different than playing Russian Roulette. I am not exaggerating, and I promise if you take the time to do the research you may find you will also walk or get a far better deal on upgrades or land value with them. Before you pay a deposit, please request that you have an option for a full refund. This will give you time to visit the design center and see the low quality garbage included. Cabinets ,carpets handles, lighting, etc. The basics are so sad that you will have no choice but to pay triple and upgrade. Then you can actually start working towards something nice, which will cost another 200k plus. I assure you will be so happy with having that option. You will run for the hills with your 20k refund in hand. Sadly, we did not, and they kept our deposit. I believe we were told we are number 11 to run and take the loss. The market now is flooded with properties now, and you have so many options elsewhere in much better places. Happy house hunting, we bought in Winter Garden and love it
