Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Lauderdale SW/Miramar

Ripped carpet, ants in sink, rust in shower. This is the worst HGI I have stayed at. The bartender was more interested in talking to the chef than checking on customers. The food was mediocre and the front desk staff acted put out when I asked for ice since the only ice maker wasn't working.

Decent all the way around. Clean and relatively inexpensive. I come here regularly for work and the staff are friendly (and remember me, so that's kind of nice to experience when on the road)

As a Hilton Honors Member, I experienced extremely poor customer service at this location, particularly from the general manager, Omar. Despite booking a reservation from March 26 to March 30 and providing a credit card on file for payment, my additional guest, my mother, was denied check-in because my physical card wasn't present for incidentals. Despite requesting a credit card authorization form, it was denied by the night staff without a manager present. Subsequently, I woke up to find a charge of $190 on my card for a night we didn't stay. Upon contacting Omar, he denied the staff's claim and insisted on a no-show status, refusing to review evidence like camera footage or call recordings. The customer care center offered no assistance, deferring to the manager's decision. Despite understanding the cancellation policy, the treatment received was unprofessional and unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel.
