I had a delivery scheduled incorrectly on a day that the local warehouse was closed. Not only were they extremely apologetic, they called in someone to make the delivery THAT DAY and pay overtime! Top notch customer service 1000%!!! Thank you!!!

Shockingly Poor Service 1 Star Rating for Southeastern Freight Lines I am compelled to leave this scathing one-star review for Southeastern Freight Lines due to an abysmal experience with their service, marked by utter negligence and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Firstly, the delivery driver, Andy, demonstrated an alarming lack of professionalism by leaving my package unattended in the middle of the street, rather than delivering it to the designated door. This reckless behavior not only compromised the security of my shipment but showcased a complete disregard for basic service standards. Attempting to address this issue with the dispatcher, Carlos, only further highlighted the dismal state of customer service at Southeastern Freight Lines. Carlos not only dismissed my concerns but shockingly justified the middle-of-the-street delivery as a curbside pickup, a claim that does not align with the supposed LTL service they advertise. Furthermore, when seeking a resolution, Carlos suggested having the driver pick up and return the shipment to the shipper, with no clarity on potential extra charges. His response, "I don't work with billings. I don't know," underscores a profound lack of basic customer service knowledge and an unwillingness to assist customers. Adding insult to injury, Carlos failed to even check the delivery area to ensure the appropriate truck (26' box truck) was dispatched, opting instead for a trailer (53'). This not only showcases a lack of attention to detail but a blatant disregard for meeting the customer's needs. In light of this egregious experience, I implore potential customers to think twice before entrusting their shipments to Southeastern Freight Lines. The company's conduct falls far below the expected standards, and my hope is that this review serves as a cautionary tale for others seeking reliable freight services. FYI: for those of you who doesn't know whenever this guy comes up with the blah blah of the LTL, this is what it means "Less than truckload freight shipping (LTL) is used for the transportation of small freight or when freight doesn't require the use of an entire trailer. This shipping method can be used when freight weighs between 150 and 15,000 pounds."

Abysmal Service: One Star Rating for Southeastern Freight Lines Beware of Southeastern Freight Lines! If I could give them zero stars, I would. My recent experience with this company was nothing short of a nightmare. The delivery driver, Andy, decided it was perfectly acceptable to leave my package smack dab in the middle of the street instead of bringing it to my door. This reckless behavior endangered not only my shipment but also posed a hazard to anyone passing by. When I reached out to the dispatcher, Carlos, for assistance, I was met with nothing but excuses and dismissive attitudes. Rather than addressing the issue, Carlos had the audacity to justify this appalling service by claiming it was a "curbside pickup." This is not what I signed up for when I chose Southeastern Freight Lines for my delivery needs. To add insult to injury, when I asked for a solution, Carlos suggested having the package returned to the shipper, but conveniently dodged any questions about potential extra charges with the pathetic excuse, "I don't work with billings. I don't know." It's abundantly clear that basic customer service skills are nonexistent at this company. And let's not forget the gross oversight of dispatching the wrong truck size. Instead of sending a 26' box truck as appropriate for the delivery area, they sent a trailer measuring 53'. This level of incompetence is beyond comprehension. Southeastern Freight Lines, you have failed miserably in every aspect of customer service. I urge anyone considering their services to think twice. Save yourself the headache and choose a company that actually values its customers.
