I previously rated Brave Health with 5 stars. I am changing my review now to 3. I started counseling and medication here starting in August 2023. My therapist, Heather, was amazing. I was discharged from counseling as my anxiety issues had cleared up and counseling was no longer needed. I also received medication and medication management which I continued. I started with one provider, Linda Suarez, who was so great. I mentioned ADHD and was told I most likely had it. I was put on Wellbutrin(for ADHD) as well as Sertaline(for anxiety). After my 1st appt for meds, I was told that Linda was no longer with Brave. I was given a new provider, Stephanie Hall. She was also okay. Although ADHD wasn't mentioned by her and I guess she thought I was on the meds for depression and anxiety. I do not have depression. I brought up possible ADHD again and was told that again, I most likely had it. Brave Health does not prescribe any controlled substances (stimulants for ADHD) and Stephanie had mentioned that stimulants would be her first choice if she was able to prescribe them. Instead I was put on Straterra and hated it so I went back to Wellbutrin. Wellbutrin no longer has the same affect as it first did and also has a high risk of seizure so I did not want to up the dosing. For some reason I was never officially diagnosed with ADHD on paper, just anxiety. I found a new provider last week that immediately and officially diagnosed me with ADHD and was prescribed stimulants. Now today I get a text from Brave Health about Stephanie no longer being with them and that I would have a new provider. Thankfully I no longer need their services because if so...that would be THREE different providers in 8 months. So, Brave Health has been a decent experience to try different medications but the fact that I was never given an official diagnosis to my very obvious ADHD and also the fact that they go through medication providers so quickly (probably why I haven't been able to get a proper diagnosis) is why I am only giving 3 stars.

The medication management team and therapists are exceptional. However, the corporate office itself is a mess. They never pick up the phone and waste the time of the practitioners, the time of the patients, and their own time by extension while not getting anything done. Hire the extra staff that you need in order to run your business correctly and attend to the patients. These are mental health services that could make the difference between life or death. Since you dont pick up the phone, I will be seeing you in person at the corporate office. Please, do better. I look forward to seeing positive changes in this company.

I cant say enough positive experiences I have had with this company I have multiple disabilities and a severe complex case with my many diseases that have effected me emotionally spiritually physically and mentally I have been with this company since 2020 my main therapist is Elisa and I dont know what I would do if I didnt have her to talk to at least once a week she has helped me in so many ways she is down to earth easy to talk to and helps me in every possible way she can my issues between gaslighting and negligence from the medical community has been a true ongoing nightmare she listens attentively and tries to keep me grounded. Ive had other therapist in the past that we just didnt click. I have been able to share with her, my whole life history, and felt comfortable in doing so she is a real gem to me and sometimes I dont even think she realizes just how much she actually helps me, I look forward to her sessions once a week I wish all therapist were like her if I could give her more than five stars, I would shes always been there for me from one disaster to the next and I truly appreciate everything about her and all that shes done for me keeping me sane in a very difficult life

The worst place ever. So unprofessional and they dont even answer the phone and the NP- Psychiatrist twice no call no show. They the audacity that after a session she forgot to send in medication prescription. Im going to file a complaint with the Attorney Generals office and when I tried to find out her supervisor name I was asked if I wanted to reschedule. I was all over the place because this AHOLE TOOK ME OFF MY CURRENT MEDICATION AND THEN WAS SUPPOSED TO PUT ME ON SOMETHING ELSE. I am even thinking about suing and dont even think about seeing Mrs Simmons- Gilreath shes the worst!!!!!! I just found out in Florida you must file a complaint with the Surgeon Generals office. Put this place out of business or fire some folks. DONT GO THERE!!!!!!
