I am so thankful that Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialists was recommended to me by our general practitioner. I began working with Dr. Valerie Thomas three weeks after my shoulder replacement and within three weeks of my first visit, I already had more than 75% of my range of motion back! She has me doing a variety of exercises and stretches to build my strength and shoulder mobility, but also works with me personally to break down the scar tissue, lengthen those stretches, and relieve excess tension, all of which are a normal part of the recovery process. She is attuned to my needs, such that if I'm experiencing pain she doesn't push me to just get past it. Instead, she changes up my routine to accommodate for the 'off day' and keeps encouraging me to reach my goal of full range of motion and strength. I appreciate her expertise and professionalism, as well as her sense of humor that helps me keep going when the going gets tough! I suffered an injury, by inadvertently doing a twisting movement at the knee while the leg was bent. My knee was swollen and in a lot of pain. My orthopedic doctor prescribed muscle relaxers and ordered therapy. His office staff recommended Orthopedic Rehab. Jeff was very thorough and prepared a comprehensive treatment plan regimen. In addition, he gave me a list of exercises to do at home. After a little over a month Ive had great results. I am very grateful for his expertise, I feel 100% complete. Thank you! All their equipments get sanitized after every use. Overall great experience. Highly recommend this facility.

The first time that I was recommended PT I called Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialists but Cynthia was unavailable for months! I ended up going to another PT, but that turned out to be a huge waste of time, money and energy. If you need PT, make sure you go to someone with experience. My therapist was young and although very nice, I was disappointed with the results. The second time I was told I needed PT, I called Cynthia again (since my dr had recommended her) and this time I got lucky! I called and someone had cancelled, so ORS made an appointment for me to see Cynthia in 3 weeks. The day finally came and I was so excited to see Cynthia! During our appointment, she took her time to listen to my concerns and was very friendly and knowledgable. During the exam, she was very gentle and patient too; the exam wasnt painful! She knew exactly where to check for pain and how that pain affects other areas in your body. Ive only gone there three times so far, but I can honestly say that I already see a difference. If you need pelvic PT please dont waste your time with anyone else; just come here and ask for Cynthia! :)
