I called this morning to schedule an appointment for my daughter who has had severe pain in her sinus area since yesterday. Upon speaking to the appointment clerk she tells me that she shows in the system that in 2015 it shows that I paid off the account however in December it shows they sent me to collection. I told her how can you send someone to collection when I never received anything notifying me. She even said it looked strange. So I proceeded to tell her "ok no problem for $29 I would never had not paid. Please send me the bill Ill pay it or Ill pay when I get there however I need an appointment because my daughter is in extreme pain". Her response was I'm sorry I cant the bill needs to be paid. So I said your telling me that payment is more important than a childs severe pain and she said YES. I am insulted that Dr Steven's Fletcher office staff has been trained so poorly to care about patience. You NEVER tell a mother whos young daughter is in severe pain a statement like that. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau because the oath of a DR is to attend all patience especially when it was their office who failed in notifying me about a meesly $29. This office is discusting and obviously does not care about patience health just money.
