Eye Care Center - Drs. Grossman, Optometrist

It saddens me to leave this review this afternoon. Ive been coming to Dr. Grossman office for years with no issues. However, this afternoon I experienced horrible customer service from the staff. The lack of discretion when discussing personal information in the middle of the waiting room was very unprofessional. When I bought it to her attention girl at the front desk she gave attitude and was dismissive. I understand its a family business. It doesnt give rude/entitled staff permission to treat people in a condescending/dismissive manner.

ATTENTION: TO ALL MEMBERS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO SEE GO THERE TO Dr. ROGER Grossman.WHY WOULD YOU LET ME DRIVE A 30m Drive and not tell me my insurance have term AFTER TALKING TO YOU ELIZABETH?. Also you could not give a doctor EXCUSE PAPER FOR MY JOB. I took the day OFF to come there. You just want to be cold heart PERSON No one have personally there. Remembered the golden rules.

Have gotten prescription done on two pairs of glasses. The pricing is okay, and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately the service is not the most professional. Glasses take 3 weeks + to get prescription done and zero updates are provided by the staff. In my most recent experience I dropped off a pair of glasses to get done and was charged hundreds of dollars. After three weeks + I have still not received my glasses. I have been extremely kind and friendly with the staff explain my situation and concerns and have still not received any sort of update without me having to call. Whenever I call on the phone Im put on a long hold. Some staff doesnt really care and some staff promise to keep me updated but still nothing, not one single call or email, it seems like they dont care about my glasses or the responsibility of upkeeping our transaction. I even called and asked for the glasses back and they said they dont have them anymore and the lab wont provide clear details. I am extremely upset and frustrated. No other place takes this long, and doesnt even apologize or provide updates. Truly would not recommend getting any type of prescription done here.
