        My daughter is a volunteer, she loves this place and the children, but it makes me very uncomfortable that they do not take care of their volunteers, because the days are long, they do not give them anything at all, not even a snack. That seems unfair to me considering that they are teenagers who give their time and love to wonderful children. They should improve that point.

        Friendship Circle is an indispensable part of our lives. Our daughter is in the young adult program, and the range of activities is wonderful. More importantly, the friends she has made there have become part of her daily life. The staff is incredible- the most caring people you can imagine. We are also grateful for Project Lifeline, which is exactly what the name suggests, a helping hand when most needed.
