Visited with my English Bulldog a while back, felt scared because of the high shrubbery and the isolation of the space. Lots of apartments have now popped up on all sides in the last several years since. Would love to see nature walks, tours and presentations held here and would like volunteer opportunities for this preserve be made a available as well. Would like there to be details of inhabitanted plants and animals as well as information regarding any other preserves in the area discussed here as well. This place can be used to promote awareness of the importance of such spaces and to let the surrounding communities know such a jewel is in the area. This preserve is located on Countyline Rd, just south of Broward Countys West Park Community, on the edge of Miami Gardens in Unincorporated Miami-Dade County. Access is basically during daylight hours, parking is limited, and there is no admission charge.
