Let me begin by saying that the staff at AKIMIAMI are nothing short of professionals. The passion that they put into what they do day in and day out with all the kids showing them not only self defense but other invaluable concepts. It's just amazing what they do. The instructors take time to speak with the kids and parents to really get to know them. I can tell you that my youngest son doesn't stop talking about going to AKIMIAMI. Thank you for being an instrumental piece in shaping our kids and keep doing the amazing job you do. Glad to be a part of the AkiMiami family, Danny and Sara

The American Karate Institute in Miami is an outstanding martial arts school that I would highly recommend. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient and dedicated to helping students, regardless of their experience or skill. The training facility is clean and well-maintained, with ample space for both group classes and individual training. I gotta say, the karate studio my kids go to is absolutely awesome! Both of my sons attend, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer for them. They've grown so much in terms of confidence, responsibility, and respect. The senseis, Master Lipsky and Sensei Gonzalez, are seriously the coolest. They're incredible with kids, and in just a few months, my kids have learned a ton from them. They make learning karate so much fun! In addition to them, they have 6 other senseis helping out so the ratio of kids to teachers is always perfect and my kids never feel left out. What's really cool about this place is that we can go up to four times a week. But here's the thing: my kids practically beg me to go to every single class. They're obsessed with it! And honestly, as a parent, that makes me super happy. The best part is that it's not just about karate moves. The senseis also teach important life stuff. They talk about being responsible and showing respect to others. And you know what? It's making a real difference in my kids' lives. They're carrying those lessons with them outside of class too. Being part of the AKI family has been amazing. Seeing my kids grow and enjoy their karate journey brings me so much joy. We're definitely sticking around for a long time. To sum it up, if you're looking for an awesome karate studio that builds confidence, teaches responsibility, and brings out respect in kids, this is the place to be. The senseis are top-notch, the atmosphere is super welcoming, and they really know how to make karate fun!
