Mariella Barcena and Liz Rios of Sanctuarium Design are exceptional designers with an amazing crew of contractors. We had them do a full renovation of our apartment, and the process went very smoothly and the end result is a beautiful apartment. They were terrific and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them!

Did a nice job on the wood cabinets, but the stone work at only 2 years old has been replaced. Interesting, when we complained about the incredibly poor stone fabrication, they responded 'we waited too long to complain'. They never denied the poor quality and they admitted they fired the fabricator in the middle of our project. They seem not to want to take any responsibility. Be warned. Additional to my original comments, you needed 5 slabs for the kitchen, 2 more than anyone else. All other fabricators only needed 3 slabs. The manufacturer and retailer Velencia, both examined the counters and agreed, 1- the fabrication was horrible, 2-that the damage to the actual stone was done during the fabrication process. They concluded the stone was not defective, but simply handled poorly, thereby scratched. You did offer us a nice discount on a replacement. However, your price was 2x more than other fabricators. Your estimate to demo, replace the island and counter was $11,569 vs. Dynamic Designs price of $5,560. Note, Dynamic Design actually is a substantial company that did not use sub-contractors. They have actual employees. Upon seeing the demo, one thing that was abundantly clear was how much fill (caulking) was used since your measurements were so far off. Your seam didnt even align with the cook top. The cooktop wasnt centered. Every single vendor that came in and looked at the work was appalled at how poorly it was assembled. I believe sincerely you do know how bad this was and chose to run out the clock. You should be ashamed of yourself.
