Excellent Karate School and After-School program. The kids in the after-school program get help with their homework, iReady requirements and then receive Karate lessons 4 times a week. Kids that are serious with Karate can choose to compete in karate tournaments (which have their own separate fees), and may even qualify for the U.S. Karate National Championships. Kids are taught by Shihan Carlos A. Riobo, who is a 6th Dan Black belt in Karate. Separate classes are offered in Kobudo, which is a karate style with traditional weapons, and Iaido (with the Katana/Sword). The school has earned prestige and respect both locally and nationally, having developed U.S. National Karate Champions in both Karate and Kobudo.
