image Really great little hidden gem in Coconut Grove. The food was excellent, and we loved that it was quiet and charming. We are local Grovites and will definitely be back!
As of writing this, the restaurant does not have its alcohol license, so it is BYOB. We brought a bottle of sake to enjoy with our food.

image **Midorie Miami: A Hidden Gem for Omakase Dining**
My recent visit to Midorie Miami left a lasting impression. The omakase selection was a definite standout, showcasing the chef's expertise in crafting an exceptional dining experience.
Despite the absence of a liquor license, the nearby market offering sake proved to be a convenient solution. Midori's BYOB policy without a corkage fee allowed us to complement our meal with our preferred beverages, enhancing the overall dining experience.
The absence of a liquor license didn't hinder the evening; rather, it opened an opportunity to personalize the meal. The restaurant's flexibility and the nearby market's sake availability made for a creative and adaptable dining setup.
The emphasis on omakase, coupled with the BYOB policy, makes Midori Miami a hidden gem for those seeking quality Japanese cuisine and a customizable dining experience. The restaurant's commitment to accommodating patrons' preferences, despite certain limitations, speaks volumes about their dedication to customer satisfaction.

image Had the most amazing experience here! So refreshing to see such a unique place like this. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, amazing service, top quality fish, extremely fresh ingredients, overall low key chill vibes. Definitely becoming a regular thank you

image What an amazing place! The fish is a fresh as you get, flown straight from the Japanese fish markets. The quality is obvious from the start. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly. Whether you sit at the counter and watch your food being prepared, or sit outside on the patio, under cover, with the breeze blowing through, it is a wonderful experience.
The menu is not just your standard Miami sushi fare, with heavy sauces and toppings dressing up rice encased rolls. This is pieces of fresh fish as sushi or sashimi, or in bowls with avocado, edamame, wakame over noodles, greens or rice. Amazing. This is authentic Japanese cuisine. And you will love it, like we do.
Parking: It is located right in front of the main open lot in Coconut Grove. But there is also street parking on Main, Grand, or Commodore. And there is always a valet on Commodore Plaza.
Kid-friendliness: My son is very picky and won't eat anything that is not a tan and heavily processed. But even he loves Medorie because of the staff, who treat him like family.
