My experience at Baptist Outpatient Center was far from what I expected and very disappointing. The two ladies at the front desk (Sharon and Monica) were everything but friendly to me and had a non professional attitude the entire time. I arrived to the facility 15 min earlier as I was told to do. I did not have a prescription because I was supposed to have my test 4 months ago at West Kendall Outpatient but it was cancelled because they did not have any personnel to do it. They could not find it there and right away I was told I by Monica, I had to reschedule for another date. I made a phone call to my pcps office and the prescription was faxed in a matter of 3 seconds. I told Sharon the prescription was already sent and the fax was there but she did not even check, she also decided to ignore me. Later, I come to find out they decided to let the 2oclock appointment go in before me when my appointment was at 1:30pm. I ask Monica why they were doing that and she pretended to be deaf and did not even had the courtesy to reply to me. I asked twice the same question and once again there was no reply. I later asked for both of their names because it is sad that individuals like the ones I had to deal with yesterday, turned around my whole concept of a Baptist facility right away. Unprofessional and rude employees like the ones I encountered yesterday should not be working at BHSF. I worked for Baptist Health for 16 years as an Administrative Auditor RN and also been a patient of them and never before experience the lack and unprofessional customer service I received from these two individuals before.
