Mountain Cove Homes

Ive been in my home for almost a year now. I must say the home you get from this company is very low quality. For starters less than a week after closing on our home we found out our daughter had allergies to dust mites because it was so dirty/ dusty. It was filthy. The kitchen cabinets are particle board, not even hard wood. Our previous home with Lennar which was less than 1/3 of this purchase price gave us more than this company. Our showers had grout stains (pic below).They didnt even give us a basic doorbell the day we closed, only exposed wires for the space. When asked about it during our final walkthrough they stated well youre gonna get a new one anyway. Our grass holds puddles of water, water pools at edge of driveway. The subfloor under our carpet has lumps. Grout in bathroom already cracking with loose tiles . In 2022 you would think that a home at minimum had some type of standard smart system. You get nothing with Mountain Cove. We found out at closing that our home was built 3 feet further back causing us to loose out of usable backyard space. The kitchen appliances are low quality . There is really so much more I can say about this deplorable company from a customer service perspective. They claim to be a semi custom home builder but we were refused to even get a jacuzzi master tub or French doors. If you want a company that has any level of pride in their work stay far away from them. It was really a horrible experience.
