Rental car scam. The car was not a mid size SUV that I paid for. The deposit of $2500 was outrageously large and they asked to see the full auto insurance document, not just an insurance card. They seemed to be eager to charge anything extra - upsale for the toll and auto insurance was annoying and not necessary. The desk assistant was bad. I would not rent from them again. After the rental ended they claimed I caused the damage and charged $340. As an evidence they produced a photo taken on 05/07/23 way earlier than when my rental started on 07/28/23. No valid evidence, just robbery. Beware of the scammers.

I rented a vehicle from the Miami location. Once we arrived, there were two workers and like 3-4 people ahead of us. We waited 40 min before we spoke to someone about a reservation we had booked before hand, which was ridiculous. The gentleman we spoke to rude and didn't explain things well whatsoever. We reserved through Expedia. Both through Expedia and from emails sent from your company, they state they accept Mastercards. I gave my bank card that can be used as a debt card and Mastercard. They refused this method of payment because they said they can't accept debt cards. I told them it can be used as a master credit card, as well. They made me pay an extra $51 to use my debt card for the $500 hold. None of their paperwork nor Expedia state that debt/credit cards or even debt cards aren't accepted for the hold. They also downgraded my rental from a mid size SUV to a little Nissan car. My paperwork says SUV, but that's not what I got. You literally robbed me. I paid and was charged for an SUV, but didn't get the SUV and was charged an extra $51 for a clause that is unmentioned before we arrived. We are traveling and had just gotten off a cruise ship. I only brought my Mastercard bank card because everyone accepts that and the company stated they accepted Mastercards.Oh, and when I called corporate to complain, I was told there wasn't a person to speak to regarding the matter and to contact them via email with the complaint. Lastly, the rental cartels are not at the Miami airport which is where I said I wanted to pick up and drop off the vehicle. People at the airport take a shuttle from the airport to their office to rent a car. When returning the vehicle, we are to drop the vehicle off at their office and then be shuttled back to the airport.I will never use this company again. They are crooks and misleading in every way.
