One of the best, most inspiringly unique artistic venues on the planet. The space itself is overwhelmingly dramatic and engaging with curated vignettes, grand pieces of artwork that make you feel like you're in a gothic cathedral with hidden details through every inch of the space to indulge the senses in. I've enjoyed guesting at many eclectic events here to discover new artists and meet amazing people, that ranged from underground rock shows, interpretive dance, to some of the finest culinary arts dinners I've enjoyed-on the longest dinner table filled with curious trinkets, candles and filigree. I have also booked the space to host an art opening for an exhibition I curated which truly ended up being one of the best events and openings because of the space and environment we got to immerse the work in. I'm very grateful for the mastermind behind it all, Macuria, and that Merc Studio exists, the memories and experiences the space provides and the community it builds for artists.
