Almost there but not quite. Location is great but unfortunately (at the time of this stay and review), smack in the middle of adjacent construction projects. Beach and wait staff were very attentive and great. One elevator was broken all 5 days of the stay. Tons of great restaurant options within walking distance of the hotel and generally felt safe (with 3 kids in tow). Rooms: Could use a bit of an update but very typical Miami beach hotel room. Was very clean.

Avoid if you can. I hesitated to give one star but this hotel has certain assets like the beach and the staff who are truly incredible and who have a good sense of service, I give two stars thanks to their good humor. Now let's talk about the problems, hotel which takes authorization at the beginning when we thought we had paid directly for the rooms. Above we can say to ourselves that we weren't paying attention. In the states, payments are often authorizations before having the final payment but here it was not clear. After a few days we see on our cards additional unsolicited direct debits (authorization) from the hotel. We had some extra valets, and an aperitif on the beach. Very good, no worries except that the amounts that we take from the cards are 2000 or sometimes 3000 not having consumed that much we go to ask for accounts at reception, we come across Rob at night, a person full of himself and egocentric who looks down on us and insults us when we demand accountability. Dialogue was not possible because we did not understand how there could be 3,000 extra, counting everything we could perhaps arrive at max 500 and then some. In short we see her manager who explains to us that there were errors with our cards on their side that she could resolve the situation. In short, the night passes, we take the time to think and bam another authorization of 2200 on one of our cards and 2500 on another. We go back to reception and ask them to charge the rooms and leave the extras aside, we will pay at the end. They tell us that they will check with the manager and that it will be done. In the end nothing is done and every evening they try to take random amounts from us. Every day we return to reception and same story. In the end they did nothing. We blocked our cards. Payments were made at the end randomly on all the cards that we put on the rooms. And we left with a headache. In any case, I remember that some people tried to help us but that they didn't do anything in the end. The gratuitous insults from Rob are unacceptable in an establishment that claims to be of quality I know these are words in the wind but I hope this mishap doesn't happen to anyone else, run away if you can

This hotel is right on the beachfront so if you plan on just staying at the hotel and doing the room- pool - beach - its ideal. Love the menu - food is amazing. We stayed only for a day but the front desk rep was so kind, helpful and always smiling even with the array of people lined up to be attended to. The only issue I experienced was thats its a pretty big hotel with two small elevators and with peak season only one was working- the wait times going up and down were annoying. The other insignificant issue was that during lunch I didnt order a specific item which I had asked the waiter to remove but he didnt make a proper note of it I guess - I didnt send it back and still paid for it, as its a simple human error. However, they need to make sure they repeat the order while taking it down and I think the language barrier could have been the crux. The rooms are very clean and spic and span, though no ventilation in the right squeeze of a washroom.
