Excellent medical care with a very hospitable and professional staff. Dr. Kumar is the best PCP and I would not go anywhere else.

Called to ask how much for uninsured and said thank you. Came in less than 30mins and tried to talk to lady upfront and she ignored me. Another lady came and asked what I wanted and then the lady that ignored me started talking to her but couldn't talk to me. They didn't have a provider in today but couldn't tell me that over the phone.

This is an amazing office, with two providers that work in the office and amazing staff ladies who really take the time to learn who their patients are and care about them. They are growing and are also taking new patients who want a doctors office that wants the best for their patients. They do amazing jobs at blood work during their lab hours. They try to get things done quickly, even though their internet and faxes seem to fail often they will fix the problem as soon as you call them and let them know. Dr Kumar is a busy doctor, he works at the hospital and certain facilities all around town, he then comes in and takes care of his patients all while receiving calls from the hospital for other patients. He remembers you just after a few visits and is so intelligent that his students that come and follow him learn so much and become very successful. Want a new doctor with a great staff come check out this office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Aravind Kumar of Brevard Medical Center for more than seven years.  He is, in my opinion, the best family physician ever!  [And I worked at the Medical School of a major university for 35 years, so I am relatively certain that I speak from knowledge and experience]. He is unassuming/humble, extremely knowledgeable in all areas of medicine; he is a wonderful listener, who unfailingly takes the time to listen AND respond to any queries you may have; he has a wonderful heart and regularly gives back to the community.  He also does not think he is your only potential health care provider, and has a wonderful network of highly qualified and well respected specialists to whom he will refer you.  And his office manager and medical assistants, are also friendly, professional, proactive, and a joy to work with. An example of his intuitiveness and proactive nature is this:  A friend of mine from another county  had been having serious neck pain with limitation of movement  that had been dismissed  by his providers in that county as: 1) it's age-related, get used to it; 2) can you spell 'psychosomatic', etc.  My friend had brought me to Dr. Kumar's office for my routine follow-up, and when I told Dr. Kumar about my friend's problem and the response of his health care providers, and asked for his opinion, he said that he could not evaluate the situation because he'd not examined the patient.  I asked him if he would, and he agreed.  He sent the patient for an MRI, reviewed the films, and immediately recommended that he see a neurosurgeon; my friend was told that he was 'a quadriplegic waiting to happen'; had surgery within the week, and has had great relief.  He feels strongly that Dr. Kumar saved his life.So, in closing, I would say that I would drive any distance to see Dr. Kumar.
