Where to start?! First off, Dr Datta is amazing and this review excludes him. Multiple calls unanswered, prescriptions I am allergic to sent in to pharmacy, unethical drug testing practices, double billing..I could go on and on. The worst part is that my pain management doctor apparently quit before I was due for my pain pump refill and nobody called to inform me until a couple weeks ago.I have been referred out to a different pain management practice to manage my pump, but thank God I didn't use all of my extra bolus medication in the pump, because I was due for my refill on 3/27 and it is now 4/9. Had I used all of the medication in the pump and it ran dry, what would have happened?? Scary thought, yes?

Absolutely horrible, had back surgery through this company and was told by them that I might need further work done. Now that I do they refuse to help with pain management. Buyer beware! Do not enter!! Do business at own risk!!!

I highly recommend going here. They listen to you and offer different treatments depending on what you need. Karen Bransky is definitely one of my favorites. I have been going here for back issues, but they recently gave me a cortisone shot for my knee which I wasn't able to get anymore at my PCP's office.

Five stars are for the Medical Staff. Don't worry about poor service from the CLERICAL staff! The Back Center medical staff is who you WANT to see if you have back/spine problems. The medical staff at the Back Center have treated my entire family. Three of us have had back surgery by their surgeons. The Back Center recently changed ownership, and there has been a marked decline in patient contact and services, including diagnostic tests, BUT NOT BY THE MEDICAL STAFF! I am willing to deal with non-medical services that are FAR below what I received from the original owners, just as long as Dr. Hines and his staff are treating me. Ignore recent negative comments! See the doctors at The Back Center at least for your evaluation. PS The new company did away with the small coffee and snack bar that was such a nice place to wait. What a shame!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESES PEOPLE. SHORT VERSION THEY LIE, MANIPULATE, ABUSE THE INSURANCE SYSTEM AND ARE NOTHING MORE THAN CRIMINALS THAT RUN A BUSINESS!!
Especially the office manager, which you can reach by pressing 67177 extension from the main line... in case you don't feel like waiting on hold for 45 mins and being fed a line like I was. Also my doctor was Dr. Regina Morris Solis
I used to go to them for pain management. They failed to mention to me that they are shutting down this division until WEEKS AFTER my doctor QUIT. I went for my monthly visit for my prescription refill and was seen by a nurse practitioner (out of 3 total visits I only saw my doctor once, which makes me wonder how long ago my doctor quit they wouldn't tell me) anyways, on this visit they said they could only give me a week refill and when my doctor was in next they would write me a refill for the other 3 weeks. Here, it is 3 days past when I was supposed to get my refill and nothing. I call them and after threatening with a lawyer the office manager finally calls, with not a care in the world for what they've done, tells me how I will have to now come in weekly for appointments with ONLY a nurse practitioner, since all their doctors quit on them, until they finally shut down the facilities pain management's division and will not follow through with what they had told me they would do at the last appointment. I am paralyzed from the chest down and require a wheelchair and transportation van to get me there and back. That's $220 a round trip. Not to mention how much they will make off my insurance for weekly appointments. So this has to make me wonder HOW long have they known they were shutting down pain management? (I've only been going to them for 2 months, DID they accept me as a new patient knowing they were shutting down that division? HOW many other divisions are they closing without telling patients? HOW many other doctors up and quit? WHY would they quit? WHY are they really closing down pain management, is it due to all the doctors quitting due to the way the place is being run? HOW long ago did all the doctors quit, and if they've been signing off prescriptions with doctors that don't work there anymore? AND MOST OF ALL, WILL THEY CONTINUE TO PRACTICE MEDICINE THIS WAY IN WHATEVER OTHER DIVISIONS THEY STILL HAVE OPEN? So, all that being said, I would refrain from doing any business with this company/ location!
JUST LOOK AT THEIR STAR RATING. 2.5 at the time of me writing this. Facilities like this need to be investigated and shut down. People deserve better health care than 2.5 stars.
