Bagel 13 - Melbourne

I went one morning and got an egg & cheese bagel sandwich. The cook had long hair that was tied back lightly. After a couple bites, I had to pull 3 very long hairs out of my mouth... I almost gagged. I opened the sandwich up and found so much hair cooked INTO the egg. When I called the restaurant, the man who answered (who I'm *assuming* is also the cook with long hair), didn't seem to care much at all. He didn't sound surprised. When I first mentioned the hair, his response was "ok". No apologies. Just kept saying "ok" and to come in with my receipt for a refund. I mentioned that the cook should probably wear a hairnet. His response: ok.

No coffee at this bagel/coffee shop 6/22/2023 morning. No lox for lox and bagels. No clue how this place stays open. Somebody needs to take charge of this place.

I love the staff here at the West Mel location. Everyone there are always smiling and the atmosphere is always friendly.
