Art More Place

As a teaching artist I give Art More Place 5 absolutely GOLDEN stars! I loved offering my Body Prismatic Painting Jam in Sherri's well equipped, spacious wonderment of a studio bursting with creative mojo from every corner. The participants were wonderful, brave and soulful women -- a testament to the caring community spirit and heartfelt creativity that Sherri has cultivated in the studio with the abundant offerings. Sherri is a teaching artist's dream to work with -- from her careful preparation of the studio before my arrival, to handling absolutely every detail of the signup and registration. All I had to do was show up with my supplies and teach (which is an extremely rare situation in this profession!). In conclusion, JUST WOW!!! A gigantic thank you from the bottom of my heart goes out to Sherri, Art More Place and each and every participant in the workshop.

Art More Place is exactly that- a place for more than just art. It feels like a spa night for your mind as you are so comfortable in your surroundings and are happy to explore your inner artist. I feel so happy going in and even happier leaving. I love that it is appropriate for all levels of experience- so welcoming!

From the first moment you walk in, your eye doesn't know where to look. Should you look at the gorgeous teal walls? The twinkling fairy lights? The incredible artwork adorning the walls? Or should you look at each person who is there to welcome you, with hugs, smiles, laughter, friendship, and the amazing freedom that comes with seeing, doing, and LIVING art? Yeah, that. Do that.
