I am very happy with how well I was treated here. I went in for some help with relaxing my TMJ muscles and started treatment to get fitted for a mouthpiece. The initial appointment went well and I went back to do the fitting where the TENS unit is used to relax the jaw TMJ muscles. It actually flared up my condition unfortunately so I couldnt go forward with the treatment. The dentist and staff here though were super helpful and accommodating as well as understanding. I appreciate their care and concern for their patients.

5+ star! I take my autistic son to this location and he has seen Brittany and Patty for the last 10 years. We just realized that this morning when we went there. Ive got to say that this place is amazing. Its truly a one on one experience. Dr. Hunter Collins and his staff are incredible and even though my son does have insurance, that isnt accepted by this location we still pay a self-pay rate because its worth it!

I initially went to Dr Hunter Collins for him to to place a crown on a new front tooth implant. After he did this: First the tooth next to it cracked and was pulled. Dr Collins replaced the crown on the implant with a cantilever which is dual tooth crown that covered the implant and the newly pulled tooth. He was about to cement it in when I realized the fit and color were totally wrong. He ordered a replacement from the lab and it came about a month later. Meanwhile I wore the distorted crown as a temporary. He and his assistant agreed that the replacement looked good and he cemented it in. He said it was light but would darken when it hydrated. It didnt. He then said he didnt want to further disturb the implant/cantilever crown and offered to replace the 2 crowns on front teeth to the left of it with lighter colored crowns and use a whitener for my other teeth as a bettersolution. A couple of months after this was done one of these 2 teeth broke at the gum-line. He said the tooth was healthy and could be saved. He put pins in it and replaced the crown. In about a month it broke again. He said it could be saved. He would do a root canal which I would pay $1,700 for and he would replace the crown again at no cost to me. At this point I went for second opinions from 2 general dentists, 2 periodontists and an oral surgeon. They all said the the tooth was not savable because not enough of it was left. The local general dentist, who saw me first, adjusted all the crowns that Dr Collins put in my mouth. No other teeth needed adjustment. The dentist that did the adjustments and a local oral surgeon he sent me to said that it would be best to replace all of Dr Collins work. The minimum they said should be 2 implants/crowns for the broken tooth and the tooth that had the crown replaced at the same time (to whiten it). I then went back to the Boynton beach area to my former general dentist and periodontist for their opinions. Their consensus was replacement of all Collins work would be best, costing more than $30,000. A short term , minimum solution, would be to replace only the broken tooth with an implant and crown. I opted to go with the opinions of the dentists I have known and trusted for years. I decided to have them do the work. This means I am making numerous 2 1/2 hour trips to West Palm Beach. While getting the opinions, I was informed that Dr Collins poor decisions, poor workmanship and a bad choice of lab resulted in the loss of 2 front teeth and a very bad color match with all other teeth in my mouth. I have no dental insurance. I asked Dr Collins to take responsibility for the over $7,000 cost of replacing the broken tooth or at least a portion of that cost. It has been a month since I reached out to him. He has not responded.
