        I was mesmerized by the view while staying at the hotel. We stayed in the Heron Room and I was able to wake up to a water view every morning. The room was very spacey for 3 people. Nice large fridge, oven, cabinet space and bathroom had great HOTWATER! Amazing view of the Sunset and the staff was so kind to us. I highly advise anyone visiting Matlachato book with them in advance for the Waterview rooms. Great local food and shops! So bring your boat, your poles and you wont regret it. I cant wait to go back again in the future!

        Such a cute place. Stayed here over Labor Day weekend in the manatee suite. It is an older building but it was clean and for the price I was very happy. Would definitely stay here again but would want to stay in a suite on the water.

        Not just temporarily closed, it's completely gone after the hurricane. Even most if the pilings are gone.
