Yellow Dog Cafe

I have beeb dining at Yellow Dog for over 20 years. It is one of my favorite places, especially to bring guests. However, my reservation request which was confirmed did not take place. I asked for a table for 5 on the DECK. I confirmed the deck request and was told there was no problem, we were reserved on the deck. When our party arrived we were told the only table we could have was inside and they were too busy in the deck area. No matter that I pointed out our confirmed reservation, the staff would not seat us there. Very disappointed, doubt I will return.

Server had emergency during Easter brunch, which I understand and feel bad for,management did not know she left or did not send support to other staff until I complained. Nobody came to table for almost 2 hours after soup dropped off party of 7, tab over $500, asked to speak with management, assistant came but never GM, provided no resolution, actually scolded me for not accepting verbal apology. Bathrooms filthy, carpet visibly spiked,.several recent health violations on life kitchen including incorrect food temperature and hand washing violations. Waterfront is pretty. Not fine dining, management is terrible.

Just left Yellow Dog, food, service and veiw were top notch. I have a very picky girlfriend and this is the only place in Brevard County I can take her too without 1 compaint. Everything from appetizers to desert were awesome. As always can't wait to go back again. Thanks for the 5 star service and food.

Our first time! Cassie was our server, and she was exceptional! Knowledgeable, professional with a warm & welcoming demeanor. We were a party of 6 for a family Easter Dinner. I had to give 4 stars for food because one meal was not like the others! The Lamb, 2 Mahi, Salmon, and Ham dinners were excellent. My husband decided to splurge w the Wagyu Steak. On the drive home, he told me it had absolutely no flavor . I asked him why he didn't send it back... or at least say something to the server? This man is just too considerate at times, and he didn't want to ruin everyone else's meal. I'm a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America-- and not only does my husband eat well , he understands what to expect, ordering a quality cut of meat like a Wagyu steak. He was sadly disappointed on this day. Especially when he paid $160 for something he had to force himself to eat.
