Extended Stay America - Orlando - Maitland - 1776 Pembrook Drive

Stayed here for 3 months at the beginning of 2024. The rooms have some "miles" on them but are kept very clean. The onsite laundry was a lifesaver along with having a small gym. Did not use the pool but it sure looks pretty. But the best part is the staff. They are so patient with everyone and very welcoming. Anytime we needed anything they were always ready and willing to help out. Even if you just needed to chat with someone for a few minutes there was always an ear available. I'd just like to simply say, the next time you need a place to stay, just go with ESA! Walkability: Lots of sidewalks and neighborhoods to stroll around in.

Only 1 lounge chair to use at the pool, all others wear just chairs. Breakfast had only sugary items except plain instant oatmeal. Just prepackaged muffins and granola. No fruit, juice, eggs, toaster, cereal, or milk. Just sugar. Room was clean and staff were incredibly nice. The room was clean and good for the stay. Was also quiet.

The location is convenient however as you enter you could notice a million air freshener hanging, come to find out the place smells real funky literally, it smells old n musky we all left with stuffy nose. The br told lid was broken the bedside lamps did not work n the furniture r old. Also the i had to flush several times before the toilet was really flushed the toilet was really old. The water really smell too n there was a scent coming from the br i think it could b the plumbing system.The lady at the front desk was pleasant. It was quite an experience. Rooms: I used my own bottle water to brush my teeth I was scared of the water, smells real bad

In reality, the rooms stink of old, dirty furniture, rusty bathroom keys, what an uncomfortable night I had, not being able to speak the same language and not lose the money.

First time staying in this hotel. I only needed something for one night and wanted to keep it cheap. Starting with the positives, it was in a decent area and the staff was very friendly. Parking was also easy. The bed was also pretty comfortable. I have stayed in much worse hotels so I really didn't think this hotel deserved less than a 4 star. My biggest issues with the room was that due to the hotel being older and the furniture not being updated in awhile, the room did smell weird. There was also damage to the shower head so when the water was on it shot water out from the top of the shower head, onto the ceiling, and then onto the floor. Ants also came very quickly. I was only in the hotel room from 9 pm to 7 am the next morning and I left one packaged food item on the counter, by the morning ants were all over it. The room itself was relatively clean. I always bring lysol spray and wipes myself to do a quick wipe down and the only thing I found dirty was the bathroom sink. I mean you get what you pay for but it was not a terrible hotel in my opinion. If you are on a budget and don't mind an old fashion place, I would try this place out. Out of all the cheaper hotels I viewed in the area, this one was one of the higher ratings as well.
