After many scheduling woes, the Initial installer came out to complete the job; reinstall specific gutters to resolve water flow issues. However, during the installation, the installer also found additional issues and offered to fix those while he was here for an additional fee, I agreed. Come to find out by GUTTER PROFESSIONALS, the installer was doing this work on the 'side' and this was NOT part of the normal field adjustment process. I have contractors come all the time and suggest/add services while on site. I have never had a problem with this approach as many times the installer sees more than the original estimator. UNFORTUNATELY, the entire job was done poorly by the initial installer, poor flow issues and stagnant water. All work needed to be redone as the original problem persisted. ADDITIONALLY, the additional work approved on site was poorly done as well. EVIDENTLY, the installer pocketed the extra money and GUTTER PROFESIONALS will NOT fix the additional work. How was I to know the installer was pocketing this money? He is a representative of GUTTER PROFESSIONALS, a company I chose to trust with my business. I made an agreement with the installer with the assumption that field adjustments were normal process. GUTTER PROFESSIONALS should stand by all work completed on site by their representatives, regardless of whether it was done in bad faith by their employee. Bad installers or bad faith by the company and its representatives ... take your pick.
