Was referred here by my dentist when I needed a root canal. The office is very nice and clean and they got me in right away. Dr Galla was very brief with me and didnt explain much. During the novocaine injection he was telling the tech that the syringe was broken and didnt glide. But he kept using it. During the procedure he complained about how the tools were broken and kept telling the tech to throw this away or get it repaired. I never once saw his face since he never introduced himself and stayed behind me the whole Time. At the end of the procedure he literally walked out of the room. The tech had to explain the final details. My side of my face is swollen and the injection site of the novocaine is so painful I cant open my mouth very wide. I do not recommend this doctor. The office seems good but stick with doctors from the other reviewers!!!

I was referred here by an oral surgeon. I have a tooth infection and unfortunately it wasnt made clear that nothing could be done until the infection was gone. The dental tech needed x-rays, but rather than ask if there were some being sent from a different office, she immediately started yanking my jaw open to try to get the x-ray unit into my mouth. I had a completely swollen face and I could only open my mouth a little bit, but that didnt stop her from trying to jam the unit into my mouth. When she couldnt get it in, she got mad at me. I told her I had X-rays done the day before (from my wonderful General dentist who had a machine that rotated around my head because they knew I couldnt open my mouth far enough). She walked off and said they didnt have the X-rays. When the Dr came over I told him I didnt want her working with me because she was mean to me. She walked off, mimicked what I said and started laughing. This woman had zero compassion. I walked out of there in more pain than when I walked in. I will never go to this office again because of her.

It's been a while since I went there. Dr. Lipkin was great. He did my root canal in literally 15 minutes! Fastest I've ever had done, without any residual pain or discomforted afterwards, hence the 5 stars. The down side was his front desk staff/billing dept. I specifically ask what my cost would be after presenting my dental insurance. I know most dental insurances aren't great but was contend when I was told my only out of pocket expense was $291. I ask the staff/billing dept. if they were sure about this & I was assured that this would be my only expense. I happily paid & went on my way. UNFORTUNATELY... here we are in the new year & I've been sent a 90 day notice for payment of another $265. Now they've called me prior to this notice for pymt, (1-2 months after the visit). I initially told the person calling that I was told my only out of pocket expense would be the $291 & that the insurance would "definitely" cover the rest. I am so upset at them for "misinforming" me that I have resisted not paying the bill simply as a matter of principal. Had they told me upfront that there may be an additional charge because they aren't sure the insurance would cover it I would have been disillusioned but well informed. That was not the case here. I'm not sure if the Dr. is aware of this or it's just a big conglomerate that covers all of the DR. working there. Either way the staff should "not assure" the patient that the insurance will cover the majority of the procedure then say "opps" they didn't & here's your bill. Not even a "we're sorry for the misunderstanding"! I will of course pay the bill but needed to "vent" my frustration at what otherwise would have been a great visit & make others aware that if told "the insurance will cover the rest", take it with a grain of salt!

Friendly staff that makes you feel at ease, and when I returned to my regular dentist he said "wow, they did a great job!" Best of all, I didn't feel a thing. So much for the old "root canals are always a bad experience" clich.

I was referred by my general dentist for a root canal and I had a pleasant experience. The front desk people were nice and answered questions. The dental staff, including the Doctor helped calm my nerves and it was a pleasant experience. However, i gave a 3 star review because of the experience I had at the end of my visit. After my root canal, the dentist filled in the area with the temporary cement and just left the room, the dental assistant that was there removed the equipment from my mouth and told me the the procedure was over. I asked her, if she was going to check my bite because I always have issues with my bite from 3 previous procedures. Without checking my mouth, stated that the bite was not going to be an issue because the tooth is low(it was no. 18 or 19). I implored her to check again and she didnt. Didnt have any of the bite test or the blue paper thing they use to check for occlusion, nothing. Now Im here on Sunday, 2 days after my procedure and Im in pain, I cannot close my mouth as I can feel my top tooth pressing against the bottom one. I cannot go back on Monday as the office is too far from me and Ive had to take half of my Friday off for the procedure. I will have to endure this pain until I see my general dentist. My experience was pleasant at this practice but you have to listen to your patient, I wish the lady had listened to me, I wish I had been more forceful. I hate to have written such review but I think not listening to your patient is a fair concern.
