This company is very unprofessional. They do not answer the phone and even forward your calls. Their contractors use cheap materials and don't completely finish the finish carpentry properly. Our land was only halfway cleared upon purchase and we had to pay to clear the rest ourselves. Very very unprofessional company that doesn't truly care about people who are moving into their homes

You might not know that independent builders buy the plans and use some of the services of Cay Homes. GC was very good. Our real estate agent kept emphasizing the "bumper to bumper warranty" which is for a year. We are less than one month from our year. We had some issues that needed to be addressed when we first moved in. It took forever (weeks) for them to send the repair man. That man encouraged us to just call him directly the next time we needed help as he didn't get messages from the office. We need several rather small areas addressed before our year warranty expires. I have been calling the office leaving messages for at least two weeks now. No one ever answers. I leave messages. I am afraid they'll wait until a day or two before our time runs out and then say we're too late and our warranty is expired. Cay Homes is unresponsive and very unprofessional. The only reason I gave a 3 star review is that the house seems to be built well and our closing happened on time.

Bought this home 8 months ago and I have multiple issues roof, cabinets,hole in wall landscape holes missing grass make sure you look at the home real good before you buy.
