Art Basil Restaurant

I had the caprese, Caesar salad and twin lobster tail risotto. All good choices. They do have live music ,however, I came in a little late and just missed it. I will definitely return to eat again and try to buy art from the owner. She has some AMAZING work over the bar and in the hallways towards the kitchen.

First visit 4/8/24. Live nearby and have been wanting to try this place. Loved the soft music and having the open door to the patio, but there were plenty of mosquitoes. Good wine. There is a sign in back with specials I didn't see until after order was taken, but server never brought them up to us. Caesar salad never appeared and when the entrees did, we were short one. Food was average. Unfortunately, we had an elderly couple with us and it took another twenty minutes to get her plate while the rest of us ate. Had to flag down another server for the dessert menu and another time to ask for water refills. Sat some time and waited after dessert until I walked up to the bar to ask for our check. Server was new, only had two tables and was very nice, but service was abysmal. Server needs TRAINING on the basics. Unfortunately, the evening was disappointing and we probably won't be back.

Food is always flavorful and delicious. Have had several entre dishes here that are tasty but I must say their pizza is one of my favorites. If you are looking for a great pizza, it's here. I love it every time. Always come back here for entrees and pizza. Service needs to step up though, but food is most important in our rating in my opinion.
