About 6 weeks ago we hired Dave Brooks based on the recommendation of several neighbors to sweat-in some copper tubing under our kitchen sink and rework the pipes due to a remodel. A couple weeks later, we had him back to replace a shower valve and toilet flapper valve and install the new faucet at our sink and shower fixtures after having it retiled/remodeled. Last week we invited him back out to change our water heater, as it just wasn't keeping up with the demand anymore. Let me tell you what we noticed and appreciated about Dave. He was available, punctual, neatly presentable, respectful, courteous, adequately equipped, highly knowledgeable and skilled, worked quickly and efficiently, kept his work area clean, worked around other trades well, did exactly as promised, used quality parts, and communicated well. He also backs all his work in writing. If these things matter to you, then Dave is your man. We found his rates to be standard for his industry, and know that you get what you pay for in a trade. Is plumbing expensive? It can be. But so can a botched job by someone who is not properly trained, rushed, or using inferior parts/materials. We were not taking any chances with our brand new all wood cabinets. And we know that Dave Brooks Plumbing will be around for years to come, so that brings peace of mind. Once again Brooks Plumbing to the rescue. This time for my leaking sink. I have used David for several repairs and I can always count on great service at a great price. I also know I'm getting quality workmanship and the piece of mind knowing the job is done right is priceless!
