Arlen from A&L Marine Surveyors refused to perform one of the tests we agreed to over the phone. The disputed test required partial disassembly of the engine. If you need a surveyor try to find someone more trustworthy with a better track record who will fulfill promised service.

The item the gentleman was talking about was done with the lockout testing byyy our YAMAHA computer, he was told over the phone that I would hand compression test it only if it could be performed on the particularly engine if it could be by hand, it could not be, , and I would not charge him if we could not, the price was deducted from the bill, in addition on the small boathe purchased we were able to save him $4000.00 on tyhe bill in what we found on the survey. The gentleman was looking for a brand new boat, but wanted it to be brand new on everything, mit was a used boat, and he got a great price because of our meticulous survey. YOU CANNOT MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY IF THEY ARE UNHAPPY. WE have never really had a bad review in 50+ years doing business area, it just goes to show that some people will never be happy.
