Loved this museum! The Edward Hopper and Guy du Bois exhibit was sensational. And, it's free admission, but I did donate because I liked it so much. Don't miss the 2nd floor exhibit. The food and home photos are eye opening. Visited again March 2024 and saw the Wyeth and Norman Rockwell exhibit. Great illustrations and all the Saturday Evening Post covers was cool!!

Treated extremely rudely by security. Got a firm dressing down in front of my family for not staying 12 inches away from the art. I was indeed about 8 inches away as I pointed out the magnificent detail that Rockwell used. My grandson was interested in this until the security guard came up and started berating me. He made broad motions with his hands and stated, "We will not tell you again! Is that clear? 12 inches!" I was mortified to be spoken to and reprimanded in such a way. It was embarrassing as people started to look in my direction and equally embarrassing to be spoken to thusly in front of my 12 yr old grandson and my wife. We left immediately .Here's the kicker. I had in my possession a sizeable contribution for the museum. It left with me.
