Again on Wednesday when its senior day, only one cash register open six of us online waiting for cashiers. We cant use the self check out because youre stupid systems wont apply the senior discount. I dont understand why this cant be done Harris Teeter can do it and if we do our self check, then we have to wait on another line at Customer Service to get our senior discount. Theres something wrong with this system.

I have always shopped at Publix and given generously to their fund raising efforts, but never again. I had a medical issue (glucose) tonight after hours and needed to pull into a parking lot (Publix at Dunwoody Place, Atlanta) until I was able to stabilize. A very nice police officer advised me Publix didn't want people in their parking lot after hours. Note: there are other businesses at that location. I did the safest thing I could do during this episode. Less than 100 ft away slept 4 homeless people in the bus stop, but they were okay to be there. Almost daily well dressed individuals are begging for money. Publix isn't the company it use to be. Sad day when Publix doesn't want a person to rest briefly in their parking lot to stabilize glucose levels, but welcomes more questionable individuals. Goodbye to greedy corporate Publix. My $1800 per month and pharmaceutical costs are going to your competitors.
ADDENDUM: Publix did not issue a ruling of no parking after store hours. The leasing company who owns the building did. I could have died last night due to low blood sugar and/or killed an innocent person. Wake up, leasing company!! Your property is secure. There's nothing to steal from there, but rushing a low blood sugar person out onto the roads could have been deadly. Do something about the homeless and panhandle group.....it's a higher risk they would jeopardize your property than those of us with high mortgages. If you're so concerned about your property, maintain it. Keep up with the landscaping. The pinestraw is more than a year old and the trees need pruning. Maintain your property value. Learn life does not always function in black and white. There's more to property leasing and management than trying to injure people. Get your noses off the spreadsheet. Publix just may not need this building soon.
