I called and the individual who answered was hard to understand. No worries, I understand some people don't have the full grasp of the English language. However, I had a simple issue which I needed help on to finish. This would have been a quick easy job. The problem is I have health issues and could not finish putting on my lift pump for a 1997 Ford F250HD. I just needed the monkey bolt out on. I was frustrated and had spent the better part of 2 days trying to get this on. I gave up and thought calling a mobile mechanic would resolve the issue. Nope. If you are working on you own car and according to them "if you touched the vehicle we can't help you". I asked him to clarify what he meant by "touch the vehicle" and he just repeated the same thing as above. This was irritating as it didn't understand why touching the vehicle made any difference to getting a bolt put on. I said that makes no sense and this would be a easy job. I just didn't feel like putting the extra effort into it after being frustrated. But this phone call further frustrated me and irritated me even more. So I said so you won't work on a car if the owner of the car has done any work on it? He said correct. I said FU and hung up. So I. Guessing this was liability issue for them. My issue was I needed the vehicle running. I would have signed a release or anything to get the truck rolling.. I guess the guys have plenty of business because they made no effort to find another way or point me in the right direction. Maybe he had a bad day but even then it was just wrong.. Hope this helps..
