I was a patient years ago. I had surgery on my right foot. I shattered an extra bone on the ankle and the fragments split the nerve. Dr Lapoff repaired the injury and follow up care was excellent. If I still lived in the county I would go ba m to fix my present problem. He is knowledgable and understanding. His office is wonderful. I wish I wasnt in North Florida, I havent found anyone up here even close to experienced. NG Weiner

OMG. Had to wait 20+ minutes in waiting room, and then another 10 minutes in exam room for doctor. Why is this an issue? Because there wasn't anyone in the waiting room, and there were no patients with the doctor. In fact I watched him walk back and forth several times to talk with front desk people without any effort to bring me in. I felt like a dog at the front door waiting for my master to come home!!! So went to see him as I was having issues with my LEFT foot when riding my bike. Wondering why it was only happening on the LEFT. Doctor looked me over and did not find anything mechanical. He decided to do x-rays as a preventative measure and took an x-ray of my RIGHT foot. Then off he goes to develop (?) the x-ray. 15 minutes go by and nothing. I can hear him talking to someone down the hall almost the whole time. When the conversation stopped is when he returned and told me nothing was wrong on the x-ray. I then asked if was going to x-ray my LEFT foot and he said he can figure out what's wrong with both feet from one x-ray. I am not a podiatrist, maybe this is correct, but why not x-ray the foot that is having the issue (LEFT) and make assumptions on the foot not having the trouble!!! He offered to do the LEFT one, but I turned it down. My coach outside was going to turn into a pumpkin at the stroke of 12 midnight, and I was not sure I had the time to wait again. Woman at front desk was soooo nice. A+ for her and the technician (Ch******e) who was also friendly and helpful. Dr Lapoff is obviously knowledgeable and has a good disposition. Where he failed me was in his lack of respect of my time and attention to detail. LEFT FOOT, LEFT FOOT!!!! This was my first and last appointment with him. In fairness to any doctor being reviewed, please read all reviews to make sure you have a good overall picture. I can be a patient person, but have I can not tolerate having my time wasted.

Very knowledgeable and esteemed surgeon. His peers in the area speak highly of him also. Dr. Lapoff and his staff have been together for many years.
