Bruce was wonderful to talk to about a recent horrific experience at Delray Medical Center. He used hypnotherapy to help me see events that I was unaware of, and is helping me control invasive thoughts and flashbacks. Very easy to talk to, and non judgmental.

Dr. Eimer, I wanted to take a moment to send you a note and thank you for all you have done for me. After losing my mother and father over the last few years, I was in a dark place. I did not know how to deal with life at that point. It felt truly as if the world was sitting on my shoulders. I always shrugged off therapy, never believing in it and always saying that I can tell myself whatever a therapist might offer as insight or opinion. You proved me wrong. Although it took some time, trust, and a lot of work, you have made me better. You have helped me improve the person I am not just with the losses of loved ones, but my day to day life. At first, I did not want to listen to what you had to say, I didnt believe words or thoughts would have an impact. I couldnt have been any more wrong. It has taken many many months, many tears and some laughter too, but in one session, you pushed your chair to the wall, turned the lights on and off, then on and off again, and again. Now words were said, until you finally said to me that when I am feeling down, I need to flip the switch. I need to recognize those moments of sadness and flip the switch. You emphasized that is is ok to mourn or be sad at times, but you must flip that switch and train your brain of the positives. You also taught me gratitude, and to wake up every day grateful for what I do have and not what I am missing. With what I started with a deaf ear and not wanting to hear your words and thoughts has turned into one of the best things I have done. I truly believe everyone should have the benefit of therapy and I just wanted to let you know how appreciative I am of all of your help, support and encouragement. It is still a work in progress, but just thought I would let you know my mind is in the best place it has been in a very long time, and I have you to thank for that. Fondest Regards, Thank you again.

I feel extremely lucky to have the privilege to work with Dr. Eimer. I never feel as if I'm sitting in a typical therapy session while chatting with him. He is always present, provides knowledge and encouragement, and provides strategies that don't feel effortful. I really could not recommend Dr. Eimer enough to anyone. He is a wonderful psychologist.

Had a free consultation scheduled with him that he completely no showed. Called me over 24 hrs later with no explanation for that and started asking for insurance info. Proceeded to make me repeat characters I was reading to him about 75 times to the point of it being so tedious I told him I would need to stop and email him. He refused and said lets get it done so he could verify everything quickly. Indicated he would get back to me within a couple days and likely an appointment the following week. Well nearly two weeks later no callback and hes ignored multiple emails that would've taken seconds to respond to with a brief update. Clearly not capable of keeping up with the operational stuff since he wants to be a 1 man show and not have a secretary and I'm glad I dodged a bullet here as he majorly lacks professionalism.
